Field compaction tests using both nuclear gauge and sand replacement methods; sampling of fresh concrete for slump testing and for strength testing; concrete core cutting to determine strength of hardened concrete; Schmidt hammer testing to assess strength of hardened concrete; DCP testing of granular material to assess in- situ bearing capacity; cross-hole jacking tests to determine soil deformation characteristics.
Road pavement inspection and testing including condition survey; road surface profile measurements (rut depth and roughness measurements); pavement deflection measurements using Falling Weight Deflectometer (FWD) methods; excavation of pavement pits for profiling and sampling of materials; analysis and reporting of pavement condition.
